What are Crypto Punks

Crypto Punks is a collection of 10,000 unique characters with proof of ownership stored on the Ethereum blockchain.

Launched in 2017 by 2 Canadian Software developers Matt Hall and John Watkinson. CryptoPunks are credited for starting the NFT craze of 2021.

Each punk is unique and was algorithmically generated through computer code.

They were originally released for free and could be claimed by anyone with an Ethereum wallet, but now the lowest price of punk is 62.5 ETH ($206,121.87 USD)
